Prof. Alfred Wong was invited to discuss the new issues of Macao Tourism on Wind and Fire, a TDM commentary program.
Yesterday (February 2), Prof. Alfred Wong, APAEM scholar and Associate Professor at the University of Macau, was invited by Wind and Fire, a TDM commentary program, to discuss the new issues of Macao tourism, including the surge of gaming revenue, the host of the National Games of PRC, as well as the E-Government affairs.
During the program, Prof. Alfred Wong suggested that the latest characteristic structure of tourists should be analyzed, thereby providing tourists with the innovative entertainment products during non-peak seasons. He also pointed out that the Macao SAR Government should lead the development of themed Metaverse projects, simultaneously encourage the collaborations with local integrated resort operators. In terms of the National Games of PRC, Prof. Alfred Wong suggested that the Macao SAR Government should put the confirmation of undertaking sports on their urgent agenda, in order to foster the local tourism via sports events, and achieve its added value.
