Prof. Dimitrios Buhalis and Prof. Rob Law
Recently, Prof. Dimitrios Buhalis, Director of the eTourism Lab and Deputy Director of the International Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Research at Bournemouth University Business School, visited the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) at the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by Prof. Rob Law, APAEM Deputy Director.
During the visit, both sides exchanged views on topics related to promoting the sustainable development of academic research in the field of artificial intelligence and smart tourism. They also discussed the latest developments in technology applications in the Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, and Leisure industries and explored the opportunities for future cooperation.
Prof. Dimitrios Buhalis is a Strategic Management and Marketing expert with a specialization in Information Communication Technology, Smart Environments and Interactive Marketing. He is Professor of Smart Tourism at Bournemouth University Business School and Editor in Chief of the international journal Tourism Review.
