Prof. Rob Law and Mr. Hui Sun
Mr. Hui Sun, Secretary General of Tencent Culture and Tourism Research Institute, recently visited the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) of the University of Macau (UM) to gain a deeper understanding of the research results of UM in smart tourism. He received a warm welcome from Prof. Rob Law, Deputy Director of APAEM.
During the visit, Prof. Law introduced to Mr. Sun the current interdisciplinary projects conducted by the APAEM Smart Tourism team and scholars from home and abroad. Additionally, Prof. Law highlighted the tourism infrastructure of Macau’s smart city. The two parties engaged in a friendly and cordial exchange of views regarding the ongoing advancements in digital technology and the sustainable development of smart tourism in Macau. Thereafter, Mr. Sun, accompanied by Prof. Law, toured the UM campus for an overview of the teaching features and campus facilities.

Through this visit, both parties are eager to strengthen future collaborations and explore additional opportunities for cooperation and research in the field of smart tourism.
