Recently, the 2024 annual meeting and re-election session of the Committee on Foreign-Related Trial Theory for the Association of Trial Theory Studies of the China Law Society was held in Zhuhai. Prof. Guangjian Tu, APAEM Scholar and Professor in the Faculty of Law, was invited to attend the meeting and was appointed as a new member of the Committee on Foreign-Related Trial Theory for the Association of Trial Theory Studies of the China Law Society. In addition, Prof. Guangjian Tu was also invited to conduct an in-depth discussion on the topic of “High-Quality Development of Commercial Trials Related to Hong Kong and Macao” at the conference.
The Committee on Foreign-Related Trial Theory for the China Association of Trial Theory Studies was established in July 2009 under the auspices of the Higher People’s Court of Guangdong Province. It is composed of experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, relevant central departments, and judicial practice circles. This meeting elected a new group of members to the Committee on Foreign-Related Trial Theory, with Haibo Zhang, the President of the High People’s Court of Guangdong Province, as the Director. More than 80 people from the Supreme People’s Court, relevant high courts, experts, scholars, and practitioners attended the conference, and award-winning papers were honored.
