Prof. Rob Law, APAEM Deputy Director, visits Burapha University,Thailand

The Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) at the University of Macau (UM) is actively engaged in international research collaborations and the expansion of academic networks.

From December 20 to 21, 2024, Prof. Rob Law, Scholar at UM and Deputy Director of APAEM, visited Burapha University (BUU) in Thailand. He received a warm welcome from Prof. Jittima Charoenpanich, BUU’s Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Prof. Karoon Suksonghong, BUU’s Vice President for Finance and Treasury. During the meeting, Prof. Charoenpanich and Prof. Suksonghong provided Prof. Law with an overview of BUU’s history and development, and they conducted in-depth discussions on academic research, collaborative projects, and personnel exchanges. Both parties expressed their hopes for further strengthening cooperation and deepening academic exchanges and research projects to jointly promote academic development in the future.

Additionally, Prof. Law visited the Business School of BUU. In the company of the executive team and faculty representatives, Prof. Law toured the college’s facilities and learned about its recent academic developments. During discussions, Prof. Law engaged in insightful conversations with the executive team and faculty representatives of the Business School regarding the initiation of research projects, guidance on publishing in international journals, student exchanges, and other academic cooperation.
