Prof. Rob Law and Prof. Tao Hu
On October 28th, Prof. Tao Hu from the College of International Tourism and Public Administration at Hainan University visited the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) at the University of Macau (UM), and was warmly received by Prof. Rob Law, APAEM Deputy Director.
Prof. Tao Hu is a Professor in Tourism Administration at Hainan University and has served as the principal investigator for several projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). His research areas include hospitality and tourism technology management, tourism big data, smart tourism, data mining and analysis, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and blockchain, among other cutting-edge topics.
During the meeting, Prof. Rob Law and Prof. Tao Hu had an in-depth discussion on topics of mutual interest, including smart tourism management and tourism forecasting, and exchanged their academic achievements. Both parties expressed their interest to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in teaching and academic fields.
