The study evaluated the top 100,000 scientists based on their c-scores (with and without self-citations) which included the number of citations and the h-index (author-level indicator that measures both the productivity and citation impact of the publications), etc., or the scientists who achieved a percentile rank of 2% or above in their disciplines. Inclusion in this ranking signifies that a researcher possesses substantial international influence and has made noteworthy contributions to the advancement of their discipline.
