On 23 Apr, 2022, Prof. Rob Law, Deputy Director of APAEM, was invited to give a lecture on “Publishing in Research Journals and Common Mistakes in Academic Writing” by Nankai University. This online seminar attracted almost 200 participants, including faculty members, master and PhD students.
Prof. Law’s sharing consists of two main parts. In the first part, Prof. Law walked the participants through the complete reviewing process of journal paper submission, including selecting the appropriate journals and manuscript revision. In the second part, he further introduced some common mistakes in research design and academic writing.
The seminar was extremely engaging. At the end of the seminar, many master and PhD students raised their questions and Prof. Law answered patiently. All participants found the seminar useful and felt appreciated for Prof. Law’s sharing.
