Professor Jacky Yuk-chow So, Director of Asia Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) and BNU Chair Professor of Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), and Professor Shigemi Furuta, Programme Director of APAEM, spoke at the Spring Symposium of 2019 in Kyushu, Japan on 16th March, 2019. The Spring Symposium was organized by Center for Chinese Business Studies of The University of Kitakyshu and the theme of this year’s symposium was “US-China Trade Dispute and Re-establishment of Intraregional cooperative relationship of Industries in East Asia”. At the Symposium, Prof. So shared his view on the US-China Trade Dispute with the topic “US-China Trade Dispute: A Trade War or Currency War?”

Aside from being speakers at the Spring Symposium, APAEM visited Office of Integrated Resort Regime Promotion, Macao Government Tourism Office, Rikkyo University and TV Asahi in Tokyo to promote University of Macau and upcoming Global Leadership Development Programme in Japan.
