Prof. Yifan Zuo received a warm welcome from Prof. Rob Law

From October 18 to 21, Prof. Yifan Zuo, Assistant Professor of the Physical Education School at Shenzhen University, visited the University of Macau and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM). Prof. Zuo received a warm welcome from Prof. Rob Law, APAEM Deputy Director.

Prof. Zuo’s main research interests include sports intangible cultural heritage, sports tourism resources development, sports management and marketing, and physical activity and health promotion. During the meeting, Prof. Law provided Prof. Zuo with an overview of APAEM’s latest developments and shared pertinent research findings.

The two professors engaged in a comprehensive discussion about cultural heritage tourism and sports tourism resource development in Macao and the Greater Bay Area. They recognized that enhancing these sectors could significantly boost the local economy while also fostering cultural identity and social cohesion. Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for strengthening academic cooperation and exchanges in the future to advance research in these important fields.
